Now the Bk16 there's something about the look in person that I don't like, and my rating on it is 3. I am absolutely in love with the TUROK by KA-BAR, That's a fixed drop point flat grind blade. I think I'm going to return the BK16 and get the BK18BK it was first called the Harpoon when it was in Coyote tan.

The Black handle on the BK16 Short Becker Drop Point is made from Ultramid®. Plus this knife comes with a spare set of Coyote Tan handle scales. Ultramid® is a custom made polymide by BASF and is known for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal resistance.
1095 Cro-Van Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the BK16 Short Becker Drop Point by Becker Knife & Tool of KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Drop Point shaped blade is 4.375 inches long and is stamped with BK&T/KA-BAR.

Tan Cordura® Sheath
