Ultramid® Handle
The Black handle on the BK10 Becker Crewman is made from Ultramid®. Ultramid® is a custom-made polyamide by BASF and is known for its high mechanical strength, stiffness, and thermal resistance.
1095 Cro-Van Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the BK10 Becker Crewman by Becker Knife & Tool of KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Clip Point-shaped blade is 9 inches long and is stamped with BK&T/KA-BAR.
Field sharpening of the BK10 is easy with its sharpened edge.
Black Polyester Sheath
Included with the BK10 is a Black Polyester sheath. Additional Features of this sheath include External Pouch. This Black Polyester sheath is made in China.

Forgotten BK knife
Did a lot of research before deciding on the BK10 over the BK2/22 I had purchased the BK9 earlier and like the thumb rest and the ballistic nylon sheath, the front pocket fits a fire starter and a sharpener with ease. The quality is unmatched and is sharpened as much as possible right out of the box. A Very strong solid knife with good weight for bush crafting. I like the scales that come on the knife as well and cannot understand the need to change them. You can't go wrong with this purchase.
