Responding to the need for a lockblade that is durable, yet light in weight (42 grams, 1.4 oz.) the Z390SW features a durable black Zytel handle and serrated edged blade, great for cutting and maintaining an edge.
Zytel®, a DuPont trademark, is a glass-filled nylon material used in making handles for knives. Zytel® is a high strength, abrasion, and impact resistant thermoplastic polyamide.
Grohmann takes pride in their products and that means using high quality materials. Rockwell hardness 56-58 degrees is maintained throughout all of the Outdoor knives. Comes serrated for cutting through rope and various other materials.
