The newest addition to the KA-BAR/Johnson Adventure® knives, the Parangatang, is the ideal field companion. This parang-style machete features a 14-1/8" 1095 Cro-Van steel blade and the Adventuregrip™, multi-position handle made popular by our other full-size Adventure® knives. Sold with a MOLLE compatible Cordura® sheath.
The Nuclear Green handle on the Johnson Adventure® Parangatang by KA-BAR® is made from GFN-PA66. GFN-PA66 is an extremely strong and durable glass reinforced nylon.
The Fixed Blade on the Johnson Adventure® Parangtang by KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this parang machete shaped blade is 14 1/8 inches long and is stamped with KA-BAR/"A".
Field sharpening the Johnson Adventure®Parangatang by KA-BAR® is easy with its sharpened edge.
Included with the Johnson Adventure® Parangatang by KA-BAR® is a tan Cordura® sheath. The sheath is made in Taiwan.
