This was my first fixed blade, and knife I did my research on, everything before this was just a folder. So when I went looking for a survival, fixed blade, with tactical abilities I found my self always going back to Stapleton's to look at this knife and I couldn't find a bad wor about it, so I purchased The Jarosz TUROK and Ka-bar knives. After maybe a couple days tops I was surprisingly stoked that my knife was delivered. As soon as I could I got right into the box, and from the moment I picked up this perfectly balanced, and weighted knife, everytime I use it just works as well as the first time along with the ability to surprise me still to this day. From splitting kindling, to putting on the lanyard and taking on some thick branches for building shelters, when me, and my teenage son go out to try and learn bushcraft, I have yet to be disappointed!! This 6 1/4 inch blade shows it has all it needs to preform, and preform at a high level.
